David Thompson

As director of information technology for the SEI, David Thompson is responsible for defining an IT strategic direction that is consistent with the demands of the SEI’s strategic plan and developing operational plans to execute that direction. Prior to joining the SEI in 2004, Thompson worked for Fidelity Information Services, a provider of managed operation services to Fortune 500 companies. At FIS, he served as the technology services manager, overseeing teams responsible for systems support and engineering, database development and administration, data storage management, and capacity and performance planning for the enterprise. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
