Professional Background

Julie recently returned from a 3-year Individual Personal Act (IPA) assignment to the Transformational Satellite Program (TSAT) where she served as the Deputy Program Manager for the TSAT Mission Operations Systems segment. Prior to the IPA assignment Julie worked mainly Air Force programs including support to TSAT, the Global Positioning System (GPS) program, and Command and Control System Consolidated (CCS-C). Prior to joining the SEI, Julie Cohen was a Program Manager at Brashear LP. She led the development effort for the fire control system for the Army’s next generation infantry weapon. Julie Cohen also served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Her career included various assignments in the acquisition career field including the Trainer Aircraft Program Office, the F-16 Program Office, the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, the Human Engineering Division of the Air Force Research Laboratory and as an exchange officer with the Royal Air Force Institute of Aviation Medicine.
