Terry Dailey

PD&T Director, Transition and Navy Business Manager

Professional Background

Mr. Dailey is currently assigned dual responsibilities in the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Program Development and Transition Directorate (PD&T). As the Director, Transition, he works with the PD&T Director to develop, monitor, and achieve near term and strategic, long term funding, transition, and growth objectives including the development and execution of near term and strategic, long term plans to achieve those objectives. As a Navy Business Manager, he is specifically responsible for the customer life cycle management of all Navy programs in his customer portfolio.

Mr. Dailey has an extensive business development and marketing background, including assignments as the Manager of Business Development at the Westinghouse Savannah River Company, Vice President Marketing at UST&D, Inc., Nuclear Products, and as a Project Manager, an Engineering Service Bureau Manager, and a Senior Marketing Engineer at the Westinghouse Electric Corporation

A 1970 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy, Mr. Dailey is a Naval Aviator with fleet experience in the F-4J and F-14A aircraft. He retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of Captain. His educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree from the U. S. Naval Academy and a Master of Science degree in Personnel Administration from George Washington University.
