Key Responsibilities

Current responsibilities in the Research, Technology, and System Solutions Program include 

• analyzing concepts, principles, methods, and techniques for creating and sustaining software-intensive systems and large-scale systems-of-systems; evaluating to which extent new technologies contribute to achieving interoperability; and assessing and applying formalisms for achieving semantic interoperability

• developing formal models, methods and tools for analyzing and predicting non-functional properties such as performance of embedded and real-time systems; analyzing embedded and real-time systems using an architectural description language; and developing a tool platform and tool plug-ins to support automated architectural analyses
