SEI Appraisal Program Communications

Announcements    |    Notifications of Policy    |    For More Information

One of the SEI Appraisal Program's main functions is to communicate clearly to the appraisal community. These communications include policy changes, announcements concerning upgrades, workshops, and authorization or certification opportunities.

Announcements

Software Acquisition Capability Maturity Model (SA-CMM) Sunset Terms are announced.

Training for the CMMI-ACQ model is currently available in the form of a one-day CMMI for Acquisition Supplement for Introduction to CMMI Version 1.2 course.

SCAMPI A appraisals using the CMMI-ACQ model with a start date of May 1, 2008 or later will be accepted by the SEI. For further information on becoming a SCAMPI LA for CMMI-ACQ, see the Lead Appraiser Authorization for SCAMPI Appraisal Services using CMMI for Acquisition web page.

The Sixth Annual CMMI Workshop will be held in Vancouver, Washington on October 27-30, 2008. Registration for the workshop can be found in the Partner Resource Center.

SEI stresses that informative material is important to CMMI model interpretation and implementation.
