Announcement - Face to Face Meeting Required for all Lead Appraisers for CMMI V1.2
Face to Face Meeting Required for all Lead Appraisers for CMMI V1.2
V1.2 of the Appraisal Requirements for CMMI (ARC) and the Method Definition Document (MDD) for conducting SCAMPI A Appraisals will be published this summer, bringing some significant changes to the SCAMPI A appraisal method. In addition, we have observed a number of substantial variations in the understanding of the current SCAMPI Appraisal Method and the CMMI Models among SCAMPI Lead Appraisers.
To address these topics, we are conducting a mandatory one-day workshop at some SEI-sponsored events during the period of October, 2006 thru October, 2007. If you attend one of these events, the upgrade workshops are offered to all authorized and candidate SCAMPI Lead Appraisers free of charge. Successful completion of one of the offerings listed below is mandatory for all Lead Appraisers. Authorization to conduct SCAMPI V1.2 appraisals is also contingent on successful completion. Failure to complete this requirement will result in loss of SEI authorization on December 31, 2007.
Register here for one of the following currently scheduled sessions:
- June 15, 2007 (ESEPG Conference, Amsterdam, Netherlands) - Open Session - 9:00 AM
- June 22, 2007 (SSTC 2007, Tampa, FL) - Open Session - 9:00 AM
- NOTE: Additional 2007 Face-to-Face Sessions will be available soon.
Topics covered in the upgrade workshop will include:
- ARC/MDD V1.2 changes
- CMMI Model interpretation
- Appraisal quality issues
- Code of Professional Conduct
You will receive email advising you where to find more details and registration information on the offering to be held at the CMMI LAs and Instructors Workshop once the final agenda and schedule have been established. The remaining offerings and their registration information will be announced once final planning has taken place.
Thank you.
