Educator's Workshop
The Software Architecture Technology initiative has held free annual workshops for college educators since 2004. With the goal of reaching a broad community, the first three workshops began with the two day course, "Software Architecture: Principles and Practices" (SAPP). The third day consisted of a working session to discuss how the participants currently included software architecture topics in their courses as well as how the material from the SAPP course might be incorporated.
In 2007, the workshop invited previous participants to obtain more depth by offering the two-day "Documenting Software Architectures" course, followed by a working session on how to incorporate the materials into college courses.
In 2008, the format will be similar to previous workshops. The workshop will begin with the two-day course, "Software Architecture Design and Analysis," followed by a one-day working session on how to incorporate the materials into college courses.
