Fourth SEI Software Architecture Technology User Network Workshop
April 28 – May 1, 2008 | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Submission Guidelines for SATURN Presentation and Tutorial Proposals

All participants are encouraged to submit a proposal, including a title and an abstract, for a 20-minute presentation about their work and its relation to software architecture technology. We are especially interested in presentations regarding the following topics:

We encourage you to address some of these questions in your presentation:

We also invite submissions to present half-day (three-hour) tutorials on advanced-topics ranging from practical techniques, guidelines, standards, and surveys to theoretical issues related to software architecture. Tutorials are intended to provide independent instruction on a topic of relevance to software architecture. Therefore, no commercial or sales-oriented presentations will be accepted.

Proposals for both presentations and tutorials are due by December 7, 2007. Authors of selected proposals will be notified by January 18, 2008. Submissions should be no longer than two pages and include a title, brief biographies of the presenters, and the abstract of the presentation or tutorial not to exceed 500 words. For tutorial submissions please also include an outline of the tutorial. For all selected presentations, submitters grant the SEI permission to reproduce the abstract and full presentation on the SATURN Web site. Presenters are responsible for ensuring that all submissions are cleared for public release.

Please send inquiries about the workshop to saturn@sei.cmu.edu.
