Certificate and Certification Programs
The SEI offers the following certificates and certification for software professionals:
- Software Architecture Professional Certificate Program. This certificate gives software architects the needed breadth and depth in software
architecture concepts and practices. Beginning with an introduction to
software architecture fundamentals, participants gain experience in
effective architecture documentation, design, and analysis techniques,
and then learn how these techniques can be put to advantage in adopting
a product line approach to software.
- Architecture Tradeoff Analysis Method (ATAM) Evaluator Certificate Program. This certificate qualifies software architects to participate in SEI-authorized ATAM evaluations.
- ATAM Leader Certification Program. This certification program certifies software architects to lead SEI-authorized ATAM evaluations.
- SEI SOA Architect Professional Certificate. This certificate is designed for software engineers and architects responsible for designing, developing, or deploying service-oriented systems, as well as technical and project managers responsible for migrating legacy systems or managing SOA implementations.
