SEI-Certified TSP Coach Renewal Criteria
In order to keep your TSP Coach Certification current, you must
- Be an SEI-Certified TSP Coach in good standing.
- Successfully lead one TSP project launch or relaunch within a two-year certification period. Your TSP Launch observation data does not fulfill this requirement.
- Submit team data
- For launches and relaunches
o Workbooks (top-down, consolidated, and individual)
o Questionnaires (site, project, and team member)
o Evaluations (launch and relaunch)
o Launch meeting 1 and meeting 9 presentations - For all other events
o Workbooks (consolidated and individual)
o Monthly management reports - Any other supporting documentation that helps describe your
project implementation may also be submitted with the data files. - Successfully complete any required SEI course upgrades and exams.
- Use upgraded materials when available.
- Be sponsored by an SEI Partner for the TSP Product Suite.
- Be an SEI-Certified PSP Developer in good standing.
Coaches who meet the criteria for maintaining their certification will automatically have their certification reinstated for an additional two-year period.
Coaches who allow their certification to lapse will have to do one or more of the following in order to reinstate their certification:
- Attend training as required.
- Retake and pass the certification exam.
- Be observed again according to the guidelines in the observation step above.
Coaches authorized prior to September 30, 2007 will have until September 30, 2008 to complete their exam requirements (SEI-Certified TSP Coach exam and the SEI-Certified PSP Developer exam).
