CMMI Configuration Control Board
Purpose
The purpose of the CMMI Configuration Control Board (CCB) is to review suggested changes to the CMMI Product Suite.
Membership
Members of the team represent CMMI stakeholders and perform different functions. Defined roles on the CCB and the members filling each are published in the current membership list.
Operation
Changes to the CMMI Product Suite are authorized by the CCB only after sufficient consideration is given to the potential impacts and implications that change has to different segments of the user community and to the integrity and maintenance of the CMMI Product Suite. Collectively, the CCB membership has a joint responsibility to understand all impacts and implications across all CMMI stakeholders when considering specific changes to ensure a product suite that is useful and usable, and that improves with time. See the CMMI CCB Charter for more information about the board's purpose, membership, operations, and more. See the CMMI CCB Process Description and Process Flow for more information about the process the CCB uses to fulfill its purpose.
