return to CMMI main page

Purpose

The purpose of the Stakeholder Group is to provide broad-perspective representation of identified User constituencies (e.g., software, systems engineering, integrated product and process development [IPPD], and acquisition).

Membership

The stakeholder group is comprised of selected individuals who are responsible for reviewing CMMI products, coordinating the review of CMMI products in their organization, and making recommendations for their improvement. This group is intended to represent the broad stakeholder community and be actively involved with process improvement in their organizations. Approximately 50 people belong to the Stakeholder Group.

Operation

The stakeholder group is asked by the Product Team, Steering Group, or Project Manager to review materials and provide feedback when products are in draft form and have not yet been released for public review.
