Process maturity profiles are updated twice a year based on the number of appraisals received at the SEI and the completeness of the reported information .

All appraisal data used in the profiles are kept confidential.
There is no attribution to individual projects, persons, or organizations. Please do not request this information from the SEI.

An appraisal's results are owned by the appraisal sponsor; accordingly, the sponsor may publicize this information at their discretion. A list of Published Maturity Levels is available.

Maturity Profiles are only possible due to the cooperation of organizations and individuals sending appraisal results to the SEI. Providing this information and service in the future depends on this continued cooperation. For more information, please see Reporting Appraisals to the SEI.

Appraisals reported to the SEI by the end of January are included in the February/March profile. Appraisals reported to the SEI by the end of July are included in the August/September profile.
