What changes were made to the product suite in CMMI v1.2?
The release of CMMI v1.2 includes improvements to all parts of the CMMI Product Suite in response to issues that have emerged in practice. The changes focus on improving the quality of CMMI products and the consistency of how they are applied.

How should CMMI v1.1 users upgrade to CMMI v1.2?
To upgrade to CMMI v1.2, organizations that are using CMMI v1.1 first need to understand the changes in CMMI v1.2. For information about these changes, see http://www.sei.cmu.edu/cmmi/adoption/cmmiv12-changes.html. If you plan on participating in a v1.2 SCAMPI appraisal or attending future advanced CMMI training, you must register for and complete CMMI Version 1.2 Upgrade Training.
