The examples provided here indicate the areas of process improvement knowledge and skills that were important to address in the context of the ASI and CTI pilots.  They do not represent the transition mechanisms that would be required in all small settings.  However, we hope that they give you some ideas of the depth and breadth of these events.  In general, they were short (less than 2 hour events), and they were applied at the point when the organization was ready to use the knowledge and/or skill represented.
