The Introduction to CMMI for Services course illustrates the benefits of process improvement and introduces you to CMMI fundamental concepts.

For a more in-depth knowledge of the CMMI-SVC model, take the soon to be available CMMI for Services Advanced course. This course is also a prerequisite for the CMMI-SVC Instructor and SCAMPI Lead Appraiser tracks.

All CMMI training is consistent in its presentation of CMMI and process improvement concepts. These courses are all offered by the SEI, but introductory training is offered by SEI partner organizations. Find an SEI partner organization near you that offers CMMI introductory training. There are hundreds of SEI partner organizations who employ consultants that are licensed to provide CMMI services.

You can become a CMMI instructor by attending classes, passing exams, and meeting other requirements. You can also become a lead appraiser by completing the required courses, passing exams, and meeting other requirements.
