SEI Software Engineering Workshop for Educators
The Sixth SEI Architecture-Centric Engineering (ACE) Workshop for Educators was held at the Holiday Inn Pittsburgh University Center in Pittsburgh, PA on August 3-5, 2009.
This year's workshop began with the two-day course, Software Product Lines, which introduces the world of software product lines and the basic concepts behind it. The course also provides an overview of the essential technical and management practices needed to succeed with software product lines, and guidelines and patterns for applying product line techniques. This course is based on the book Software Product Lines: Practices and Patterns.
The third day of the workshop was a brainstorming session, led by the SEI architecture team members.
There was no charge for the workshop. However, attendees were responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
This workshop resulted in a half-day tutorial presented at CSEET on March 11, 2010
