INTRoduction
IDEAL SM-Based New Technology Rollout (INTRo) is a technology selection and deployment tool, designed in collaboration by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and Computer Associates. INTRo is being made freely accessible to all interested parties.
For organizations facing IT software technology adoption, INTRo is a roadmap in the form of a Web-based guide that helps you select the right technology and get it into practice in your organization. Unlike conventional approaches, INTRo helps manage all of the critical success factors -- people, process, technology, and culture.
On the INTRo Web site you will find an announcements Web page, and an overview giving more background and detail. Users are advised to browse key documents before registering and to read about getting started. Other information and tools to help you adopt INTRo will be added, including presentations, papers, and articles. Check back periodically for the most recent information.
For easy navigation through the INTRo Web site, use the BACK BUTTON in your browser window, the RETURN TO INTRo MAIN PAGE LINK at the bottom of most Web pages, or the navigation shown at the left side of each Web page.
Note: Access to INTRo is free but all users must register. The primary goal of registration is to gather limited demographic information about INTRo users for analyses. Any information submitted will be sanitized and treated as proprietary information. No individual or organizational-specific information will be released to any party outside the SEI.
