Getting Started with INTRo

return to INTRo main page

INTRo is a structured approach for adopting and deploying new tools and technology (methods, processes). INTRo is composed of proven practices, tips, checklists, guidelines, tutorials and work products in template form.

Registering for INTRo

There is no charge for accessing INTRo. However, all users must first register. To register, click here.

The primary goal of registration is to gather limited demographic information for analyses.

Once you have registered you may freely access INTRo. For INTRo to work properly, you must use a Web browser that supports the use of frames (e.g. multiple, independent HTML document windows in a single browser window). Most newer Web browsers do support frames. Cookies must also be enabled on your Web browser.

To get started, first read the Improving Technology Adoption Using INTRo.

After registering, see the INTRo User's Guide

Joining the Community of Practice

The SEI has launched a Community of Practice for INTRo. To join the community, go to the Software Engineering Information Repository (SEIR) Web site. After registering with SEIR, you may access and participate in the community.
