Become an IPSS Member

 

The SEI is seeking members with state-of-the-art knowledge in improving processes in small settings and relevant related fields to join the project. The benefits of being part of this project include

Applicants will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement in small settings
  • demonstrated knowledge of the gap between the state of the art and the state of the practice in small settings process improvement
  • ability to work with a diverse, international group from industry, government, and academia

To apply for one of the member positions in this project, please send the following information to
customer-relations@sei.cmu.edu:

  • your resume with contact information
  • a white paper containing the following content:
    • your view of the state of the practice in this topic (improving processes in small settings)
    • your view of the state of the art in this topic
    • your view of the research challenges that should be addressed in this two-year project
    • your experience in this topic

Your white paper must be no more than six pages in length, single-sided, and in 11-point Times New Roman font. The paper accounts for 50 percent of the decision criteria in the selection of the member applicants; the resume accounts for the other 50 percent.

Applicants selected for member positions will be required to work on this project under the SEI Affiliate contract vehicle.
