ISIS Technologies and Services

  • SMART—the Service Migration and Reuse Technique for planning legacy component migration to service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments
  • T-CheckSM investigation—an experiment that provides a "sanity check" on claims about a technology
  • System-of-Systems NavigatorSM—to identify risks in an organization&s system-of-systems environment and prioritize solutions to enhance the likelihood of success

ISIS identifies, matures, and transitions software engineering and acquisition methods and techniques for broad-based and sustained interoperability across components, systems, and systems of system in DoD, other government, and commercial systems of systems.

We also investigate the software implications of the vision of network-centric operations, provide guidance on the selection and use of technologies to field and sustain interoperable systems, and seek solutions to organizational interoperability problems.
