This information sheet describes an SEI independent research and development effort to bring the benefit of Edge-Enabled Tactical Systems to soldiers in the field. The research objective is to provide this capability: Using handheld devices, soldiers would be able to build and relay operational images by engaging digital applications. Researchers hope to learn more about needed capabilities by conducting interviews with deployed soldiers and other experts, and request that such individuals contact them to arrange for interviews.
