This presentation shares highlights of effective implementations of CMMI using examples provided by the defense industrial base and DoD organizations that have tracked and measured performance improvements from using CMMI over many years. These organizations emphasize high maturity results and their data indicate why CMMI is important to the DoD and its suppliers. Examples illustrate that the effective implementation of good practices aided by use of CMMI can improve cost, schedule, and quality performance.
