Tools for Making Better Architecture Decisions (SATURN 2007)

This presentation was created for the SATURN conference series and does not necessarily reflect the positions and views of the Software Engineering Institute.

Tools are essential to support software architecture design and evaluation methods. In this talk, I'll describe some novel, prototype tools for architecture knowledge management, collaborative architecture design and decision making, and performance analysis of COTS-based architectures. A brief overview of the aims and major features of each tool will be presented, and their use in industrial projects will be discussed.
