About the Presentation

Although software architecture is a key factor in determining the success or failure of a software system, software professionals throughout the industry continue to struggle with questions like: What exactly is a software architecture? Why is software architecture important? What factors influence the design of a software architecture? Which requirements are most important during software architecture design? In this presentation, Rob will attend to these questions by discussing the nature of software architecture in terms of architectural structures, the role that software architecture plays in an organization, the technical, business, and social influences on software architectures, and the role of quality attribute requirements in architectural design.
