CERT Program's Nancy R. Mead to Be Recognized at IEEE-CS Conference on Software Engineering Education and Training

Nancy R. Mead, a senior member of the technical staff in the CERT Program at the SEI, will receive special recognition at the upcoming IEEE-CS Conference on Software Engineering Education and Training (CSEET).

Mead's contributions to software engineering education and training will be acknowledged with a track devoted to her. Mead will also give a keynote speech, "Software Engineering Education: How Far We've Come and How Far We Have to Go," which will trace the history of software engineering education and examine the challenges that lie ahead.

The CSEET will be held April 14-17, 2008, in Charleston, South Carolina. The SEI's Watts Humphrey will also be leading a session at the CSEET called "Teaching Industrial Strength Software Engineering."
