Submit Abstracts or Volunteer to Review
Them for SEPG North America by August 15
Friday, August 15, 2008, at 11:59 p.m. EDT is the deadline for submitting abstracts or volunteering to review abstracts for the SEPG North America 2009 conference. This conference will be March 23-26, 2009, in San Jose, California.
This year's Call for Abstracts features a special topic on The Next Generation of Process. The SEPG North America Program Committee is looking for presentations that will provide thought-provoking perspectives on the future of performance improvement and process capability. View the list of topics of interest for this year's technical program or, for complete instructions, see the Call for Abstracts.
The conference committee is also seeking volunteers to review abstracts. The committee members use these reviews in our consideration of each abstract for the technical program. We invite individuals with expertise in the field of performance improvement and process capability, particularly as related to the topics list, to submit their resume or CV for consideration. For more information, see the Call for Reviewers.
The SEPG North America community has been making a difference in the software and systems field for more than 20 years. And while we often talk in terms of process, it's performance that's the real goal. Process models, process capability, process management, and process improvement are the means to that end. This year we're introducing a new conference theme that we hope captures the essence of why we all do what we do: Perform at a Higher Level. Considering that the SEI has 20 years of leadership and a proven foundation on which to build, performing at a higher level can be an aspiration for all of us. From end users to solution providers to researchers and students, Perform at a Higher Level is a reflection of our field and ourselves.
More information about SEPG North America, the premier conference in performance improvement through process capability, is available at the conference website at http://www.sei.cmu.edu/sepgna. We hope to see you there.
