PITTSBURGH, PA, July 18, 2007—Linda Northrop, program director of the Carnegie Mellon® Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Product Line Systems Program, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) SIGPLAN, the subgroup of ACM that focuses on programming languages. The award is given on the basis of value and degree of services to the programming languages community, including conferences, publications, and local activities. |
