Pittsburgh, Pa., April 24, 2012—Learn how a developer of large systems views the changes that are needed to adopt Agile methods. Explore strategies for applying Agile technologies to software initiatives “at scale.” On May 22, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm ET, the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute will host an Agile Research Forum on how Agile approaches confront the challenges of complexity, exacting regulations, and schedule pressures in the large-scale development found in government and many industry environments.
Teri Takai, chief information officer at the U.S Department of Defense (DoD), will discuss the introduction of Agile methods into the DoD software acquisition and development environment. Other scheduled speakers and sessions for the forum include
