The SEI is seeking qualified organizations to partner with the CERT Coordination Center to deliver our core training classes:

  • Information Security for Technical Staff
  • Creating a Computer Security for Incident Response Team
  • Managing Computer Security Incident Response Teams
  • Fundamentals of Incident Handling
  • Advanced Incident Handling for Technical Staff
  • Secure Coding in C and C++
  • Assessing information Security Risk Using the OCTAVE Approach

These classes are designed to meet the needs of several audiences, from IT managers, to systems and network administrators, to organizations that are looking to build an internal incident response capability. 

How does Partnering work? What services can SEI Partners for CERT Information Security provide?

SEI Partners are organizations that enter an agreement with the SEI to provide certain services through qualified staff members or contractors ("sponsored individuals"). As an SEI Partner for CERT Information Security courses, your organization sponsors one or more SEI-authorized instructors for any or all of the core training classes listed above.

Requirements for sponsored individuals

Sponsored individuals must participate in "Train the Trainer" sessions for each course they will teach.
