As we continue to make improvements to various Partner Network
procedures, we will soon introduce a new process for Continuing
Education Unit (CEU) certificate generation that is controlled by
Partners.
The SEI currently generates CEU certificates
and sends them to Partners for distribution to students. Beginning in
April, Partners will be able to print course completion certificates
that include CEUs for their students using a template available in the
Partner Resource Center. Each course will have its own certificate
template, and each template will indicate the number of CEUs the
student has earned. As part of this change, the SEI no longer requires
students to provide their date of birth in order to receive their CEUs.
Another related improvement is the updated attendee list template,
currently available on the Partner Resource Center.
Partners who have already submitted information to the SEI about courses they have delivered do not need to resubmit the information; the SEI will process these submissions as it has in the past.
If you have any questions, please contact us at partner-info@sei.cmu.edu.
