What fees are associated with becoming an SEI Partner for the SEMA Product Suite?

The SEI requires fees for the qualification process, annual support, and use. These fees are required for licenses to deliver the Implementing Goal-Driven Measurement course and Improving Process Performance Using Six Sigma course as well as for sponsored individuals who are SEI-Certified Instructors for these courses. How can I become an SEI Partner for the SEMA Product Suite?

Interested organizations may apply through the Online Partner Application. Staff members from the SEI Partner Network and the SEI Software Engineering Measurement and Analysis initiative will evaluate the organization’s capability and experience as well as the credentials and experience of the individuals that the applicant plans to sponsor for certification. The application review process requires 45 days. If the application is accepted, the organization will be required to commit to the Code of Professional Conduct for SEI Services and then execute the applicable SEI License Agreement.  

How can I become an SEI Partner for the SEMA Product Suite if I am a current SEI Partner?

As an SEI Partner for the SEMA Product Suite, you are licensed to deliver both the case study version and tailored workshop version of the Implementing Goal-Driven Measurement course as well as the Improving Process Performance Using Six Sigma course.

In addition, your organization will be listed in the SEI Partner Directory. This directory helps potential customers find and contact you.

All SEI Partners are provided with a CD-ROM that contains the set of symbols, typeface, colors and terminology that distinguishes SEI-branded services from those that are not authorized by the SEI; using the SEI Partner identity on your organization's business papers and promotional materials helps you stand out among your competitors. SEI Partners are recognized worldwide as trusted providers of SEI services. Your reputation gains credibility from the SEI's reputation as a pioneer and leader in software engineering.

Why are portions of the license agreement available on the SEI’s Web site?

By providing parts of the license agreement on the SEI Partner Web pages, the SEI is making it easier for SEI Partners to access important license agreement provisions. This also helps us publicize revisions and updates to procedures, materials, pricing, and the Code of Professional Conduct for SEI Services in a timely fashion.
