Become an SEI Partner for the Delivery of the Software Architecture: Principles and Practices Course
SEI Partners who deliver the Software Architecture: Principles and Practices (SAPP) course enable practicing software professionals to quickly gain insight into the latest concepts surrounding software architecture it successful use. The SAPP course was designed for professionals who design, develop, or manage the construction of software-intensive systems.
STEPS FOR BECOMING A PARTNER FOR SAPP
1 Meet qualifications
As an SEI Partner for delivery of the Software Architecture: Principles and Practices course, you must sponsor one or more SEI-Certified SAPP instructors or SEI-Certified SAPP instructor candidates. 2 Apply
Apply to become a Partner at http://partner-application.sei.cmu.edu/.
SEI representatives will review your application and respond to you within 45 business days. When SEI Partner Network representatives review applications, they are seeking organizations with the following:
- The ability to provide the highest quality training and consulting services and include quality assurance measures for those services.
- Demonstrated ability to transition technology practices in commercial settings, including competence in organizational change management.
- The financial ability to sponsor candidates through the qualification process, to effectively market software architecture technology and services to their target market and/or or to effectively introduce and implement software architecture technology and services into their organizations, and to make other investments that may be necessary to achieve their business plans.
- An interest in providing or a plan to provide software architecture training in parts of the world that may currently be under-served and in languages that may currently be under-represented in our current pool of SEI Partners.
3 Complete SEI Partner License Agreement
The License Agreement defines the responsibilities of both the SEI and the SEI Partner. After your application has been reviewed and your organization has been accepted as a candidate SEI Partner, you will be asked to sign the agreement.
4 Maintain your Partner status
Partner fees
SEI Partners pay

Certification
SEI-Certified SAPP instructors are required to maintain their certifications by instructing courses, staying up to date with the latest materials, and performing professional development activities.
