Working With the Performance-Critical Systems (PCS) Initiative

We combine focused research with a mandate to move applicable techniques to practice. We produce and disseminate information through publications and seek to directly transition technology in cooperating and consulting relationships.

Collaborations

Organizations interested in applying PCS techniques to their own work can develop various collaborative relationships with the SEI. Typically, the PCS Initiative is interested in applying technology as solutions to unique problems in practice in such areas as

  • applying productive modeling techniques to performance and dependability problems in real-time embedded systems
  • system-consistency analysis using the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Architecture Analysis and Design Language (AADL) standard and the Open Source ADDL Tool Environment (OSATE) as research platforms

Affiliates

U.S. industry and government organization may sponsor individuals to work on technical projects of interest both to the SEI and the sponsoring organization.
