• 11th International Software Product Line Conference (SPLC 2007), Kyoto, Japan, 10-14 September 2007. The Proceedings of SPLC 2007 are available from IEEE Computer Society.

• 10th International Software Product Line Conference (SPLC 2006), Baltimore, Maryland, 21-24 August 2006. The Proceedings of SPLC 2006 are available from IEEE Computer Society.

• Third Software Product Line Conference (SPLC 2004), Boston, Massachusetts, 30 August – 2 September, 2004. The Proceedings of SPLC 2004 are available from Springer as part of the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

  During the SPLC 2004 conference, the SPLC Steering Committee met and discussed the need to unite the software product line community worldwide to achieve greater impact. As a start, the committee decided to merge SPLC with its European counterpart, the Product Family Engineering (PFE) conferences, sponsored to date by the European Union. The plan is that the SPLC Steering Committee will lead three conferences, tentatively called SPLC-Europe (formerly PFE), SPLC-Americas, and SPLC-Asia. ESI will sponsor SPLC-Europe; the SEI will sponsor SPLC-Americas; and the Korea Software Institute will sponsor SPLC-Asia. The 9th International Software Product Line Conference (SPLC-Europe 2005) inaugurated this new organization.

• Second Software Product Line Conference (SPLC2), San Diego, California, 19–22 August 2002. The Proceeding of the SPLC2 are available from Springer as part of the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

• First Software Product Line Conference (SPLC1), Denver, Colorado, 28–31 August 2000. The Proceedings of the SPLC1 are available from Kluwer as part of the the Kluwer International Series in Engineering and Computer Science.

The Product Line Practice Initiative hosted multiple workshops on product line practices for both industry and the DoD.
