Terms and Conditions of Registration
Certificates of Completion Participants receive course completion certificates upon successful completion of the course.

Confirmation and Receipt Registrants receive confirmation via email when registration form is processed.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) Interested participants must provide their date of birth to receive CEUs for SEI courses.

Course Registration Fees Course registration fees include comprehensive course materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks. Course dates and fees are subject to change.

Dietary Restrictions We will order special meals (lunches only) for attendees who indicate a dietary restriction (vegetarian, diabetic or other) at the time of registration. The SEI will make every effort to accommodate these dietary requests only if indicated on the course registration form.

International Rates For courses delivered inside the United States: International rates must be paid by registrants whose offices are located outside the United States. For all courses delivered outside the United States: International rates must be paid by registrants regardless of the registrant's office location.

No Deduction for Taxes. The amounts to be paid by Company under these terms and conditions do not include any charges for applicable taxes, governmental charges, duties or similar additions or deductions of any kind (including without limitation any and all federal, state, local, governmental, republic or provincial sales, use, goods and services, excise and withholding taxes) other than any United States Federal or state income taxes assessed on the income of SEI (collectively, “Taxes”). Company agrees to pay any and all amounts required under these terms and conditions without deduction of any such Taxes.
Gross-Up. In the event by operation of law or otherwise, such Taxes are required to be deducted from any amounts paid to SEI under these terms and conditions, the amounts due under these terms and conditions shall be increased to such amounts as may be necessary to yield SEI the amount it would otherwise have received had such payments been made without deduction for any such Taxes.
Customs Duties. In addition, the amounts to be paid by Company under these terms and conditions do not include customs duties or any other importation or exportation fees and associated costs, if any. Company agrees to pay any such costs within thirty (30) days after receipt of an invoice from SEI.
Treaty Qualification. Upon request, SEI agrees to assist Company in completing any necessary forms to claim applicable tax treaty benefits related to these terms and conditions.

Payment Registration is not considered complete until the SEI receives payment in full. The SEI accepts the following forms of payment:

For government purchase orders, we recommend submitting DD Form 1556 as a prepaid training form, with "Advance Payment Required" in block #37 and the fiscal officer's signature in block #29.

Refunds The SEI will issue refunds (less a $50 administrative fee) for written cancellations received no less than three weeks before the course begins. No refunds will be issued after the course begins. Refunds will not be given for courses missed due to acts of God. Rescheduling or Canceling Offerings The SEI reserves the right to cancel a course offering for low enrollment. If a course is canceled, the SEI will notify registrants and either refund registration fees or transfer registrants to another SEI course offering of equal charge at no additional charge.

Substitutions
Intermediate Concepts of CMMI - No substitutions are permitted for this
course.
Intermediate Concepts of People CMM - No substitutions are
permitted for this course.
All other SEI Courses - Registrants may send a substitute to attend an
SEI course (provided that the substitute meets any prerequisites) by submitting
an email to courseregistration@sei.cmu.edu.

Transfers
Intermediate Concepts of CMMI - There is a charge of $250.00 for each
transfer requested less than 45 days prior to the course date.
Intermediate Concepts of People CMM - There is a charge of
$250.00 for each transfer requested less than 45 days prior to the course date.
All other SEI Courses - By sending a written request, registrants may
transfer registration fees from one SEI course offering to another that occurs
within 12 months. Email requests to SEI Registration at courseregistration@sei.cmu.edu
or FAX to 412-268-7401.
