Acquisition Support Program Courses

The U.S. Army RDECOM AMRDEC, Software Engineering Directorate in partnership with the SEI held an Acquisition Process Improvement (API) Workshop in April 2004 at Redstone Arsenal.

The Acquisition Support Program has developed a new Software Acquisition Survival Skills course. This course provides a broad overview of the skills needed in a program office to manage software acquisition, enabling Program Managers to recognize the needs of their programs in relation to the skills of their staff.

The following courses may also be of interest to acquisition practitioners.

Continuous Risk Management

COTS Based Systems for Program Managers

Intermediate Concepts of CMMI

Introduction to CMMI, Staged and Continuous Representation
