Salion, Inc.: A Software Product Line Case Study

Acknowledgments

Case studies are always difficult to produce because they require inside information from people who are usually too busy, understandably, to spend time sharing with outsiders. Every successful case study is the result of extraordinary generosity on the part of the organization being covered. This one is no exception. This report would not have been possible without the time, energy, enthusiasm, and patience of the staff at Salion, Inc. In particular, we thank Ross Buhrdorf, Dale Churchett, Darwin Ling, Janis Cawthron, Bill Jones, and Susie Grandi. We also thank Charles Krueger, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of BigLever, Inc., for his participation and insights and for the opportunity to see his company's Gears tool in action.
