Team Risk Management Overview

Are you looking for a better way to resolve uncertainty in your program? Especially between customer and supplier? Are your contractors surprising you with problems that can no longer be resolved?

SEI Team Risk Management provides an approach for customers and suppliers (and sub-contractors, co-developers, etc.) to manage risks and opportunities cooperatively and continuously using proven principles and tools of risk management.

The Team Risk Management Service extends the Continuous Risk Management overview to all organizations in a program, tailoring methods and tools to the joint management of program risks. The cornerstone of this service is the Team Risk Clinic, an on-site workshop that defines the risk management methods and tools to be used by the program organizations as a team. This is followed by periodic coaching as team risk management is put into practice.

Products

Tailored team risk management practice definition, implementation plan, periodic coaching meetings, final report, and further recommendations.

Prerequisite

Successful team risk management depends upon having implemented, or partially implemented, Continuous Risk Management within the program's organizations. Without risk information being supplied from the individual organizations, team risk management will be largely ineffectual.
