SATURN 2014 Registration

The SATURN software architecture conference returns in May 2014 with another enlightening and engaging technical program.

The SATURN 2014 online registration system is now open.

Registration Dates for SATURN 2014

Super-early-bird registration for the conference runs until March 3, 2014. Early-bird registration for the conference runs until March 25, 2014. To qualify for savings, your payment must be received by the closing date along with your registration form.

Registering

You can register in two ways:

    Electronically
    To register electronically, simply complete the online registration form. If you encounter problems registering online, please contact Mandy Mann at Registration Systems Lab by phone +1 (407) 971-4451 or email.

Via Mail or Fax

    1. Simply download or print the Adobe Acrobat PDF file containing the registration form.
    2. Submit the completed form after filling out the form completely and specifying the payment method and any applicable credit card information.
    3. Mail or fax the form and any payment papers (such as a check or purchase order).

Conference Registration Fee includes two full days of SATURN Conference presentations and working sessions; morning beverages*, lunch, and breaks on May 7 and May 8; and the evening reception at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel on May 7.

Course Registration Fee for two-day courses includes two full days of instruction in selected course and morning beverages*, lunch, and breaks on May 5 and May 6. Course registration fee for one-day courses includes one full day of instruction in selected course and morning beverages*, lunch, and breaks on May 5 or May 6.

Tutorial Registration Fee includes participation in the specified tutorial and morning beverages*, lunch, and breaks on the day of the  tutorial.

* Attendees staying with the SATURN hotel-room block receive a voucher good for breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day of their stay.

PLEASE NOTE: By registering, you grant Carnegie Mellon University and/or anyone acting on its behalf ("Carnegie Mellon") permission to photograph, film, or otherwise record and use your name, likeness, image, voice, and comments and to publish, reproduce, exhibit, distribute, broadcast, edit, and/or digitize the resulting images and materials in publications, advertising materials, or in any other form, and for any purpose without compensation.

Available Discounts

Employees of U.S. government organizations receive a 10% discount on conference registration, course, and tutorial fees. You will need to present a government-issued photo ID at check-in to receive your registration materials.

Students at accredited academic institutions receive a 50% discount on conference registration and, subject to availability, registration for courses and tutorials. You will be required to provide proof of current enrollment with full-time status at an accredited institution, and you will need to present your student ID at check-in to receive your registration materials.

Attendees from any organization that registers three or more people for SATURN also receive a 10% discount on conference registration, course, and tutorial fees. To apply this discount, please fax multiple registrations, using the PDF registration form, to 1-407-366-4138 or phone 1-407-971-4451 to obtain a registration code to use when registering.

Registration Terms and Conditions

Payment Methods Note: We must receive your full payment prior to the conference, or you will be expected to pay on-site in order to attend the conference. Acceptable methods of payment include the following:

  • Credit cards: We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
  • Company or personal checks: Your check must be mailed with your registration form. To qualify for super-early-bird savings, we must receive your check by March 3, 2014. To qualify for early-bird savings, we must receive your check by March 25, 2014. Please make your check payable to SEI/CMU, and be sure to write the name of your organization on it.
  • Completed purchase orders: Purchase orders are available to organizations and not available to individuals. Please note that a purchase order for multiple conference delegates must be accompanied by a completed registration form for each person. Print out the PDF Registration Form and mail or fax one copy for each registrant with your purchase order. Registration will not be confirmed or guaranteed until payment is received and funds are cleared.

Cancellation Policy: Refund requests received in writing and postmarked by April 23, 2014, will be processed minus a $25 administrative fee. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER APRIL 23, 2014. If you do not cancel and do not attend, you will be charged the full registration fee. Substitute attendees are welcome at no extra charge; however, we request written notification prior to the conference for preparation of registration materials. For refunds, please allow two to four weeks for processing after the conference.
