The SEI's Membership and Partner Programs teamed up to share opportunities for networking, socializing and fun. Many of the process improvement professionals who attend the annual SEPG are both SEI Members and Partners. This year Members and Partners were able to make the most of their conference time because the Membership and Partner programs collaborated to avoid competing events. Some of the joint events were:

As a kick off to the SEPG, the Membership and Partner Programs hosted a VIP Network Social outside the Exhibit Hall where light refreshments, snacks and a free gift were provided. This was a great opportunity to plan the week's events with friends and colleagues.

The week was full of socializing, networking and impromptu meetings at the VIP Hospitality Lounge at the Austin Convention Center. The lounge provided a lounging area, meeting space, computer access, print capability, continuous beverage service, gifts, daily raffles for prizes, and was hosted by SEI Customer Relations Representatives willing to meet everyone's needs.

Following the Monday, SEPG Exhibit Showcase Grand Opening, the Membership and Partner Programs hosted a VIP Reception at the Austin Hilton. This was a great opportunity to network and talk about the first day's events, the Exhibit Showcase Grand Opening, and catch up with SEI professionals in attendance.

Throughout the entire conference, reserved seating was provided during lunch, dinner and general sessions held in Austin Convention Center. Members and Partners took advantage of this additional opportunity to meet and socialize during the conference.

These events were a huge success and enjoyed by all. We hope to offer them again in 2008. Watch for us in Tampa.
