Gary Anthes

Gary is an editor and feature writer at Computer World and is based in the newspaper's Washington, D.C. bureau.

He has written widely about many topics in information technology, including software development and software quality programs.

He previously held reporter positions at Federal Computer Week and the Washington Business Journal.

Before becoming a journalist, Gary was a vice president at American Management Systems Inc., where he headed the company's systems development work for the telecommunications industry. He has a degree in mathematics from Duke University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
