Linda Northrop is director of the Research, Technology, and System Solutions Program at the Software Engineering Institute where she leads the work in architecture-centric engineering, software product lines, systems of systems, and ultra-large-scale systems. She is coauthor of the book Software Product Lines: Practices and Patterns and led the research group on ULS systems that resulted in the book, Ultra-Large-Scale Systems: The Software Challenge of the Future. Before joining the SEI, she was associated with both the United States Air Force Academy and the State University of New York as professor of computer science, and with both Eastman Kodak and IBM as a software engineer.
Richard Mark Soley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the
Object Management Group, Inc. (OMG®) and Executive Director of the SOA
Consortium.
As Chairman and CEO of the OMG, Dr. Soley is
responsible for the vision and direction of the world's largest
consortium of its type. Dr. Soley joined the nascent OMG as Technical
Director in 1989, leading the development of OMG's world-leading
standardization process and the original CORBA® specification. In 1996,
he led the effort to move into vertical market standards (starting with
healthcare, finance, telecommunications and manufacturing) and
modeling, leading first to the Unified Modeling Language (UML®) and
later the Model Driven Architecture (MDA®). He also led the effort to
establish the SOA Consortium in January 2007.
Ian Sommerville is Professor of Computer Science at St. Andrews University, Scotland and has been involved in software and systems engineering teaching and research for about 30 years. His principal interests are now in complex socio-technical systems that include large software-intensive systems and in cloud computing. He has worked for the past 10 years, with colleagues from the social sciences, on approaches that allow software and systems engineers to take complex social, organizational and cultural factors into account in their systems designs.
He is currently a principal investigator in the UK's Large Scale Complex IT Systems research program (http://www.lscits.org.uk) working on socio-technical systems engineering.

Jacqueline (Jacqui) Guichelaar is the Head of Global Production Services within GT Capital Markets. She is responsible for Global Production Services across all business lines including Global Markets Equities, Global Banking, Global Transaction Bank, Asset Management, Global Business Services, Finance and Debt Sales and Research. The Global Production Services organization is responsible for all services required by the business to transition new products and changes into the Production environment. Processes and functions such as Service Transition Planning, Release and Deployment Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Application Disaster Recovery and Testing Services are all part of the daily operation of the organization.
Jacqui was born in Uruguay, South America, and after having traveled and worked around the world, she now lives in London. She is heavily involved with numerous charities and not-for-profit organizations.
