5-7 June 2012 | Madrid Spain
The call for presentations and papers is now closed but the call for student posters is open until 20 April 2012.
Before submitting any materials for consideration, please consult the list of topics and presenter terms and conditions for SEPG Europe 2012. Abstracts must fit into one of the 12 provided topic areas to be of optimal relevance and value for conference delegates. The Omnipress system will prompt you to pick one topic area that best describes your presentation topic.
Submit a 250- to 750-word narrative that describes what your poster presentation will cover. Failure to meet this requirement (with either fewer than 250 words or more than 750 words) will result in automatic rejection within the system. Your abstract for consideration will be used by the Program Committee members to review your submission, and, if accepted, to place the presentation in the most appropriate program track.
You must also submit a 50- to 100-word abstract that the Program Committee will use to publicize your presentation both on the website and in print materials. This is the descriptive information that conference delegates will read to determine which individual presentation that they want to attend.
Each abstract submission must specify three learner outcomes that delegates are expected to gain from your session. Please limit your outcomes to no more than three main points. Any outcomes listed in excess of three will be edited at the discretion of the Program Committee. Please begin each learner outcome with a verb (for example: understand, learn, discuss, etc.)
You will have the option to indicate your interest in submitting a paper for review and acceptance both for an SEI Special Report and possible
inclusion in IEEE Software magazine, both to be published
after the SEPG Europe 2012 conference. The paper itself is not due at this time.
Each abstract submission must have a corresponding abstract owner and at least one presenter identified. The abstract owner may or may not be one of the presenters. However, the owner and the primary presenter are typically the same person
