To assist attendees with their travel plans, the SEPG conference staff is providing several additional hotel options for SEPG North America 2011 attendees who still require accommodations. The hotels listed below are within walking distance of the Oregon Convention Center. Be sure to thoroughly review the terms and conditions prior to making your reservation.

Portland prides itself on its eco-friendly accessibility. Among other public transportation options, the city boasts an economical, easy-to-use transit system. 
Portland's MAX light rail system makes getting around town easy with a free rail zone from the Doubletree Hotel to the heart of downtown Portland and the Oregon Convention Center.
The MAX light rail stops just outside the Doubletree Hotel Portland (Lloyd Center/NE 11th stop MAX station) and the Oregon Convention Center (Convention Center MAX Station) is just two (free) stops away. The MAX also offers service to and from the Portland International Airport for $2.30!

The Oregon Convention Center offers 800 spaces in its convenient onsite parking garage. For those who wish to park at the Doubletree Hotel, self-parking is available at the rate of $18 a day Sunday through Thursday and $9 a day Friday and Saturday; valet parking is available for $22 day.
There is plenty to do and see within the Portland city limits, and much of it is walkable or accessible via the TriMet public transportation system.
