The Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute is excited to offer an SEPG conference in the Asia-Pacific region, beginning with SEPG Asia-Pacific, September 16-18, 2009 in Osaka, Japan.
The SEI has been hosting SEPG conferences since 1988 to provide a forum for software, systems, and service professionals to learn, network, and engage in performing at a higher level by improving process and workforce capabilities. The SEPG Conference Series includes annual conference offerings in North America, Europe, Latin America, and formerly Australia. This year, responding to the growing demand in the Asia-Pacific region, the SEI is expanding SEPG Australia to encompass all areas of Asia-Pacific, and renaming it the SEPG Asia-Pacific conference.
Building on the 20 years that SEPG North America has been offered as an annual event, the SEPG Asia-Pacific conference aims to foster the professional development of individuals and the competitive advantage of organizations in the software, software-intensive systems, IT, and software-as-a-service industries. Executives, managers, developers, and engineers will come together to share, network, learn, and be inspired. While the focus is on the Asia-Pacific business and government environments specifically, we encourage all end users, solution providers, and researchers in performance improvement and process capability from around the world to join in this globally relevant event.
