Wolfgang Grimm

Wolfgang Grimm

Wolfgang Grimm was born in 1963. After a study of electrical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, he joined the Bosch Group in 1989 as a software engineer. He held several positions as software architect, and as project manager and line manager in software and systems development.

Since 2002, he has been the manager of Bosch Engineering GmbH (BEG), an engineering service provider within the Bosch Group. BEG provides process consulting, quality management methods, and project management for the Bosch Group and its partners. At BEG, he is responsible for implementing the CMMI program, which includes two major CMMI projects; for company-wide quality management; and for leading an inhouse consultancy team.

His experience with embedded software includes architecture, design of real-time systems, and engine control unit (ECU) resource management. As a project manager, he was responsible for the development of an entirely new generation of engine management systems.

Mr. Grimm has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and holds several patents in the field of real-time programming. He is married with two children.
