Obtaining a Press Pass
Complimentary press passes will only be given to press or analysts who cover the software development, application development, technology, or related fields.
Any member of the press or analyst communities who wish to attend SEPG Europe 2008 must meet credentialed requirements. All eligible press should register in advance and show their press credentials at the SEPG Europe registration arena to be admitted. Eligibility requirements are
- Editors, photographers, reporters, and writers with newspapers, trade publications, and academic/business journals who have bylined an article in the past six months.
- Editors and reporters for online news outlets, trade publications, or wire services who have bylined an article in the past six months.
- Analysts for industry analyst firms who have published a report within the past six months.
- If a freelance journalist, a PDF or link to a recent article published within the past six months. Also, if the freelance writer is covering the story for a specific trade publication, a letter of assignment from the editor is typically required.
NOTE: Advertising, sales, marketing, public relations, and corporate communications professionals; writers for in-house corporate publications; and other non-editorial personnel will not be issued a press pass.
