Professional Background

Dr. Jorgen Hansson is a senior member of the technical staff at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). Prior to joining SEI in 2005, he was with Linkoping University, Sweden, as an associate professor.

His current research interests include embedded real-time system, architectural design and validation, and dependability in terms of performance, availability, and reliability, and security. His research has previously also focused on efficient data management in real-time systems, algorithms, and feedback control scheduling for ensuring quality of data/service, and component-based software for real-time systems. He has written 65 papers and edited two books in these areas.
