Pamela helps SEI authors produce effective communications in many forms, including books, articles, educational materials, marketing materials, presentations, technical reports, podcasts, and Web sites. Pamela provides writing, editing, and Web support for various CERT projects, including Build Security In, Software Assurance, and Secure Coding Standards.

Professional Background
Before joining the SEI as a writer/editor in April, 2001, Pamela had seven years of experience as a technical writer in the software development industry, creating Windows online help, Web-based help, user guides, and other materials. Prior to that, Pamela was a systems analyst and programmer working on IBM database applications in a jet engine manufacturing process planning system at Pratt & Whitney, where she also wrote user guides and served on her department's process improvement team.
